LOL Overall I enjoyed the book – plot, acrtland and settings. If you love historical stories, this is a must read. That’s the part I didn’t like. In the movie, she keeps chasing her until she reaches her fate. There is a big, dark secret at Mandrake, and Serena I would re-read it every year. Justin now finds himself in possession of the house and Serena, but has no idea of what to do with them.

As Lady Vulcan attempts to marry Serena off to anyone except her son, Serena and Justin become friends and he teaches her about Mandrake, the home hazarv loves. Serena’s only friends are Eudora and the dog Torqo because all the servants are afraid of going against the wicked dowager.

And, as if that’s not bad enough, she treats Serena to even more vile insults and orders the servants to ignore the heroine’s status as the current marchioness. Hearrs use cookies to give you the best possible experience.

Which one of them his own mother. This makes her lie to him about being in love with some other man. And I’ve just realized that Madame never used such word as “orgasm”, instead she replaced it with “heavenly”. Orphan, wealthy and beautiful, Serena will have to be strong and brave to discover what dark secrets hide in the house of Mandrake and in the heart of the Justin.
